On February 20, 2025, Gina Cass-Gottlieb, Chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), announced ACCC’s compliance and enforcement priorities for 2025/26 at the Australian Economic Development Commission’s annual address. Ms. Cass-Gottlieb identified a range of industries, as well as specific competitive and consumer legal issues, which will be the focus of ACCC compliance and enforcement activities on 2025/26. Since last year, many areas have continued.
