2023 Ventura National Championships | Classic Car Restoration Club

Last month, the Ventura National Auto Show was held at the Ventura County Fairgrounds over Labor Day weekend. Since 2003, it has been one of the largest and most exciting car shows on the West Coast, encompassing all aspects of car culture, including hot rods, custom paint jobs, restorations, live music and vendors. The Ventura National covers more than 62 acres and is packed with classic cars and vintage trucks, while local restoration shops and vendors display their latest creations and apparel beneath the palm-lined main street of the fairgrounds. The highlight of the Nationals is always the diversity of cars and trucks on display. National Truck Show 2023

The inaugural Grand National Truck Show opened this year at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. Although the Grand National has been known as one of the best auto shows in the country since 1949, it wasn't until this year that organizers decided to split it in half from the historic Roadster Show and make the Classic Truck Show its own weekend. This year's top honor at the National Truck Contest, "World's Most Beautiful Truck," went to Greg Tidwell and his 1940 Ford pickup, which was powered by a retro-styled…
