AutoHunter Spotlight: 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe

AutoHunter Featuredis an online auction platform powered by ClassicCars.com, and up for auction is this 350-horsepower 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe. It is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine connected to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in restored Burgundy Metallic and Starburst Silver Metallic with a White leather interior, this vintage Chevy is now available from a private seller with restoration receipts, service records, and a clear title.

In April 2024, the body was repainted in a Restoration Burgundy Metallic and Starburst Silver Metallic color combination with custom graphics. Exterior features include chrome bumpers, aftermarket headlights, side vents, restored burgundy metal mirror caps, tinted windows, hidden fuel cap, and LED taillights.

In October 2024, 15-inch Billet Specialties wheels and 215/70 BFGoodrich radial tires are installed at the front; the rear end is equipped with 17-inch Billet Specialties wheels and 235/65 BFGoodrich tires.

The cabin features white leather bucket seats and a faux-suede headliner. Features include a center console with two cupholders, air conditioning, Heidts power rack-and-pinion steering, Lokar automatic shifter, and a Bluetooth-compatible Alpine AM/FM/CD/SiriusXM stereo with four aftermarket speakers, A JL amplifier and 10-inch subwoofer.

Vehicle information is displayed on a column-mounted 8,000-rpm tachometer and a set of VDO gauges that include a 120-mph speedometer as well as oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level and voltage gauges. The odometer shows 19,537 miles, which the seller says is accurate.

Under the hood is a rebuilt 350ci V8 with parts including an Edelbrock carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, aluminum valve covers, long-tube headers, 130-amp alternator, and new power steering pump. At 16,250 miles the fluid and filter were replaced. The engine is mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with a 2,800 rpm stall torque converter. It breathes through a dual exhaust system with Megs tips.

Underneath the Master Deluxe are front disc brakes and rear drums connected to a Hydrovac system. Power is transferred to the road via a solid rear axle with 2.79:1 gears. According to the seller, new accessories include front brake pads, U-joints, brake lines, power steering rack, etc.
