It has been upgraded with a Vortec 5.3-liter V8 engine and a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in bright red with gray decals over a burgundy leather interior, this “Square Body” pickup truck is now available from the selling dealer and comes with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
The bright red exterior is accented with gray decals. It comes with chrome bumpers, an aftermarket grille, chrome mirror housings, and a black spray-on bed liner.
A set of 20-inch Boyd Coddington wheels and 315/35 Haida HD927 radial tires connect this truck to the road.
The single cab has a Snowdon bench seat upholstered in burgundy leather. Surrounding features include power windows and locks, a tilt steering column and power steering. According to the selling dealer, the plastic speaker button cover is partially damaged, the vinyl cover on the driver’s side armrest is cracked, and the AM/FM radio is inoperable.
Instruments include a clock, an inoperative 85 mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. Auxiliary gauges display oil pressure and water temperature. The odometer shows 25,044 miles, but the car’s true mileage is unknown.
The original engine has been replaced by a Vortec 5.3-liter V8, which is factory rated at 335 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 383 pound-feet of torque at 4,100 rpm. It is connected to a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission.
This Chevy truck rides on a lowered suspension to unleash the sound of an upgraded V8 engine through a dual exhaust system. Power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes bring it to a stop.
According to CARFAX, the truck has been accident-free in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Oklahoma.
