Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition launched, priced at Rs 1.3 lakh;

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Chetak 3201 special edition in India for Indian customers. The newly launched electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.3 lakh ex-showroom. The new electric scooter is based on the top-of-the-line Premium model of the two-wheeler and is currently available on Amazon. It is worth noting that after the special offer period, the price of the scooter will go up to Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Chetak 3201 Special Edition is an improvement over the base model in several aspects. To be more precise, it comes only in Brooklyn Black with a “Chetak” sticker on the side panels. Furthermore, to differentiate the new version from the standard premium version of the electric scooter, the local manufacturer has introduced scuff plates and a two-tone quilted seat for the Chetak 3201.

Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition: Mechanical Details

The Chetak 3201 Special Edition has a longer range, but the battery pack is the same as the Premium version, 3.2kWh. According to Bajaj, the Special Edition has a range of 136 km, up from the ARAI-certified 127 km of the Premium version. The top speed remains at 73 km/h, maintaining good efficiency and performance.

Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition: Features List

The Chetak Special Edition has a TFT display with customizable themes, offering amenities like turn-by-turn navigation, music controls and call reminders. It also comes pre-installed with the TecPac software package, which enables features like hill-hold control and a ‘Sports’ driving mode.

Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition: Competition Review

The new Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition is priced at Rs 1.3 lakh and is available exclusively on Amazon. This new electric scooter has several strong competitors in the market. It will compete with the likes of TVS Qube S (priced at Rs 1.45 lakh), Ola S1 Pro (priced at Rs 1.34 lakh) and Ather Rizta Z (priced at Rs 1.45 lakh). All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
