Within five months of its launch in India, the Bajaj Freedom 125 has seen price cuts ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. With this update, Bajaj’s first CNG bike – the Freedom 125 – is priced from Rs 89,997 for the entry-level Drum variant to Rs 95,002 for the mid-spec Drum LED variant. However, the price of the high-end Disc LED model remains unchanged at Rs 1.10 lakh. Prices mentioned are ex-showroom. Here are the new pricing for the Freedom 125:

Bajaj Freedom 125: Specifications
The Bajaj Freedom 125 features a unique high-end design with supportive handlebars, exposed trellis and forks with fork covers. It has the longest seat on the market (785 mm) and segmented first-linked monoshock absorbers. Powering the bike is a new 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder ‘ramp’ engine that can run on CNG or petrol models at the flick of a switch.
When mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine produces 9 hp and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. Riders can easily switch between the 2kg CNG tank and the 2-litre petrol tank via a handlebar-mounted switch. Combining CNG and petrol, the CNG bike is said to have a range of 330 kilometers. According to the company, the CNG version has a cruising range of 102 km/kg, while the petrol version has a cruising range of 65 km/l.

Hardware-wise, there’s a tubular trellis frame suspended by telescopic front forks and an attached rear monoshock. Brakes include disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The base and mid-spec variants have drum brakes at both ends.
