Bajaj Pulsar F250, CT125X, Platina 110 ABS discontinued in

Bajaj Auto has quietly discontinued three motorcycles in its portfolio: Platina 110 ABS, CT125X and Pulsar F250. These models, despite offering unique products, may have been retired due to limited consumer interest and changing market dynamics. Launched in late 2021, the Pulsar F250 is designed as the modern successor to the Pulsar 220F. It has a semi-streamlined design and is powered by a 249cc engine that produces 24 hp and 21.5 Nm of torque. Interestingly, its bare metal version, the Pulsar N250, is still on sale. Launched in 2022, the CT125X is aimed at cost-conscious buyers looking for a durable, rugged commuter bike. Powered by a 124.4cc engine that produces 10bhp of maximum power and 11Nm of peak torque, it is affordable but struggles to establish a strong position in the highly competitive commuter segment.

The Platina 110 ABS is positioned as a premium commuter bike and stands out for being the smallest capacity motorcycle in India with a single-channel ABS. It is powered by a 110cc engine that delivers 8.48bhp and 9.81Nm of torque. Despite its innovative features, the ABS variant failed to gain traction in the market. However, the drum brake version of the Platina 110 is still on sale with prices starting at Rs 71,354 (ex-showroom).

Although some models have been discontinued, Bajaj is actively developing the revamped Pulsar RS 200 and the social media teaser strongly suggests that its launch is just around the corner.
