Barbican is maintaining a long-term partnership with Searcys, which marks an impressive 35 years of collaboration. This milestone highlights the power of building relationships based on shared values, innovation, and a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding culinary experience in one of the leading arts and conference venues.

Searcys has been a trusted dining partner for Barbican since 1989, playing great events, dining and hospitality services throughout the venue or missing functions. Barbican and Searcys have developed together to set the benchmark for event dining and commissioned experiences while maintaining a deep understanding of the venue’s unique atmosphere and requirements.

Searcys has catered to 619 events in the past year alone, welcomed 150,000 guests to Barbican. Their team seamlessly provides some of the venue’s most prestigious occasions, including:

  • Kate’s News Night, Kiss Me – A massive VIP event with 800 news and celebrity guests at multiple receptions, ultimately at a spectacular after-sales party.
  • The largest one-day meeting – Catering to 1,800 delegates throughout the venue, transforming the space from afternoon coffee breaks to just 45 minutes of evening internet activity.
