Women are leading the way at Campanile Hotels & Resorts in the Midlands, with four of its senior leadership team receiving prestigious awards across various departments within the resort. Each woman was praised for her profound impact on their respective industries, demonstrating the fundamental importance of female leaders in the hospitality industry.

Emma Cattrall Finance Director

Emma Catterall, finance director at The Belfry, has won the Inspiring Financial Leader of the Year award at the prestigious 2024 HOSPA Awards. The award is praised for her outstanding leadership and significant impact, setting the benchmark for excellence and recognizing Emma’s ability to navigate complex situations. Kirsten Price, People Director at The Belfry, has been named People Manager of the Year at the prestigious Hotel Cateys 2024 Awards. The judges praised the strength of those at the top of their industry who work tirelessly to ensure their businesses deliver an unparalleled guest experience. Kirsten creates a people-first culture and her ability to inspire those around her to achieve outstanding results.

Commenting on her win, Kirsten said: “I am delighted to be named People Manager of the Year. Rekha Lyons, Head of Event Sales at The Belfry, has been named the 2024 individual winner of the industry-leading miaList Awards. Rekha is recognized for her strong leadership and exceptional expertise, honoring outstanding teams and individuals who shape the meetings and events industry. This includes helping The Belfry secure investment worth more than £800,000 for its bold expansion project, with construction of flagship new events space The Masters Suite and state-of-the-art leisure club already underway.

Anna Nilsson, Assistant Greens Supervisor at Campanile Brabazon Golf Course, has been awarded the Women’s Turf Care Award at the 2024 Women in Golf Awards. As the first woman to manage such a legendary championship course, the award pays tribute to Anna’s unwavering dedication, expertise and passion, as well as her efforts to inspire women and future generations to participate in the game.
