Bharat Mobile Expo 2025: Kia Syros SUV previewed

Bharat Mobile Expo 2025: Kia India showcases Syros ahead of price announcement in February. Kia Motors blends modern design and advanced features to meet the growing demand for premium SUVs in the Indian market. The SUV will be available in six models: HTK, HTK(O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and HTX+(O), and will be available in eight monotone colors including Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Frost Blue, Intense Red , Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Brilliant Silver and Glacier White Pearl. The body dimensions are 3,995mm long, 1,800mm wide, 1,665mm high, and the wheelbase is 2,550mm. In addition, it offers a spacious 465 liters of luggage space, ensuring ample storage space. The vehicle will be both practical and innovative, reflecting Kia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in the Indian automotive space.

Kia Syros: Appearance

Design features of the car include a unique tiger-nose grille, clamshell hood with Kia logo, vertically aligned LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and prominent air intakes.

The side profile shows off dual-tone alloy wheels, silver roof rails, flush door handles and 17-inch wheels with black cladding. The rear uses L-shaped taillights, an integrated spoiler and a shark fin antenna to create a sporty and modern appearance.

Kia Syros: Powertrain

Speaking of mechanicals, the Syros comes with a choice of two engines: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine produces 118 hp and 172 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine produces 114 hp and 250 Nm of torque.

Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and a six-speed torque converter automatic.

Kia Syros: Feature Package

The Kia Syros stands out with its large dual 12.3-inch displays, surpassing the Sonet’s 10.25-inch screen. It features 64-color ambient lighting, automatic up/down windows, high-end Harman/Kardon eight-speaker sound system, two-spoke steering wheel with Kia logo, ventilated seats for all passengers, dual-zone climate control, front parking sensors, dual windows A panoramic sunroof, push-button start, Type-C charging port, wireless charging and seamless wireless integration of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Three terrain modes are available: Mud, Snow/Wet, and Sand.

In terms of safety, the SUV is equipped with electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake system with automatic parking function, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and six airbags. Standard features. In addition, it also includes Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which provides 16 autonomous functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, high beam assist and automatic emergency braking to enhance safety and driving convenience.
