Bharat Mobile Expo 2025: MG Cyberster EV showcased,

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: MG Select, the premium brand arm of JSW MG Motor India, showcased the much-anticipated new electric sports car Cyberster at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Show 2025. Cyberster is equipped with a dual-motor transmission system and an ultra-thin 77kWh battery pack, with a thickness of only 110mm. The length, width and height of the MG model are 4,533mm, 1,912mm, 1,328mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2,689mm. The high-end electric sports car will be available exclusively at MG Select dealerships, which currently have 12 showrooms in multiple cities. Buyers can choose from four eye-catching colors: Diamond Red, Inca Yellow, Ivory White and Andean Grey. For the uninitiated, the Cyberster is available in six paint finishes globally, including other shades like Cosmic Silver and Mystic Teal.

MG Cyberster: Styling Tips

Designed by former Italian Formula 1 expert Marco Fainello, the Cyberster features an aerodynamic “Kammback” design that features a sloping roofline and a truncated rear end. Its sporty aesthetic is further emphasized by a low-profile front end, stylish LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, a sculpted bonnet, 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels and split air intakes. The curvaceous design of the rear incorporates arrow-shaped taillights, while bold lines, sharp creases and diamond-cut alloy wheels dominate the side profile.

The highlight of the design are the powered scissor doors that provide access to the driver-focused cabin. The doors are equipped with integrated dual radar sensors for enhanced security when opening upward or sideways, and feature an anti-pinch snapback mechanism for extra protection. MG’s first electric sports car, Cyberster, will be sold in India through the newly launched MG Select retail channel.

MG Cyberster: Battery Specifications

The electric sports car is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system and is paired with a 77kWh battery that is expected to have a range of 444 kilometers per charge. MG emphasized that this battery is only 110 mm thick, making it the thinnest vehicle battery ever produced. The dual-motor setup delivers a maximum power of 504bhp and a peak torque of 725Nm. The car also offers four driving modes: Comfort, Custom, Sport and Track.

In addition, MG also detailed the Cyberster’s complex suspension system, including a front double-wishbone design and a rear five-link independent suspension. This configuration is designed to enhance traction and ensure optimal stability, resulting in a refined and balanced driving experience.

MG Cyberster: Features

The MG Cyberster features three wrap-around digital displays, including a vertical infotainment screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The feature list also includes wireless charging, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, six-way power-adjustable ventilated seats, a retractable roof, a flat-bottom steering wheel and a high-quality eight-speaker Bose sound system.

On the safety front, Cyberster is equipped with multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 360-degree camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for enhanced protection and driving convenience .
