Bharat Mobile Expo 2025: JSW MG Motor India pavilion at Auto Expo 2025 showcases a diverse lineup of vehicles. Apart from the upcoming debut of the Cyberster and M9 in India, MG also showcased its global lineup to the public. Some of the models showcased at the Bharat Mobile Expo 2025 include ZS HEV, HS PHEV, iM5, iM6 and MG7 Trophy. Based on MG’s past performance, we can expect that while not all of these models may be launched, some of them may make it to India in the future. In this article, we’ll delve into the details of these models.
MG ZS HEV and HS PHEV
MG displayed the ZS HEV and HS PHEV at the auto show, and plans to launch them in India have not yet been determined. The ZS HEV is a facelifted Astor that stands out with a larger grille, slim headlights and new LED DRL badging.

Inside, it includes a revised center console, a larger touchscreen and a new steering wheel. Mechanically, the ZS HEV uses a 1.5-liter gasoline engine combined with an electric motor to produce a combined power of 193 hp and 465 Nm.
The HS PHEV is a larger model with a similar design to the ZS, with a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid unit delivering performance figures of 295 hp and 350 Nm.
iM 5 and iM 6
iM 5 and iM 6 were showcased at the Bharat Mobile Global Expo 2025 as part of the MG series. iM Motors is part of SAIC Motor, which also owns MG in China. The iM 5 and iM 6 feature an aerodynamic design with wavy headlights and projector LED units. The bonnet tapers towards the front, giving it a streamlined appearance.
One interesting thing to note about these electric cars is their solid-state batteries. Both cars are equipped with 100kWh batteries and have a driving range of more than 600 kilometers. They produce 778 hp and 802 Nm of torque, and are equipped with four-wheel steering for better handling.
MG 7 Trophy
The MG 7 Trophy is a dynamic fastback sedan with a turbocharged engine that combines sporty performance with a high-quality, technology-rich cabin. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 253bhp and 405Nm of torque, mated to a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission.

In comparison, the standard MG 7 sedan is equipped with a smaller 1.5-litre petrol engine. Inside, the Trophy features a luxurious interior highlighted by dual infotainment screens and a digital instrument cluster that offers convenience and advanced connectivity.
