Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: TVS RTSx Supermoto Concept Breakthrough

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: TVS showcased the RTSx concept vehicle with a 300cc engine targeting the superbike market at the 2025 Auto Expo. The RTSx concept combines new technology and performance features with a novel design, showcasing TVS’s vision for the future of superbikes. The RTS X is built on the RTR 310 platform, but with modified bodywork. The design includes sharp headlights and simple fenders. The single bench seat and minimalist tail complement the clean look. The subframe has a new design and is painted white, while the yellow and white paint adds an extra layer to the design.

TVS RTSx Concept: Engine

The RTSx is powered by a 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 35bhp at 9000rpm and 28.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick shifter for smooth shifting. TVS claims that the RTSx can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 2.8 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

Weighing 144kg, the RTSx is designed for performance, but the 875mm seat height may be a bit high for shorter riders. The bike has 17-inch wheels on both ends to provide stability. Suspension includes 43mm inverted (USD) forks at the front and mono-shock absorber at the rear for a smooth ride.

TVS is yet to confirm whether the RTSx will go into production. However, if the superbike market gains traction in India, TVS may decide to produce the RTSx.
