BMW CE 02 x Vagabund concept car inspires your inner fashion sense

With collaborations all the rage these days, BMW Motorrad has taken the opportunity to unveil its new CE 02 x Vagabund, a stylish electric motorcycle with many retro-style elements.

BMW didn’t reveal much about the concept, but we can see that it features an expressive two-tone design with unique front fenders and yellow rims. The white wheels and tan seats provide a nice contrast to the car.

Other highlights include speaker-like trim and Teenage Engineering’s detachable OB-4 Magic Radio, a $549-plus Bluetooth speaker with an integrated FM radio.

The model is equipped with an “electric exhaust,” a cylindrical compartment that opens to reveal an umbrella. The designers also equipped the bike with “pedals with skateboard anti-slip tape” to reflect the “sporty, urban electric parkour style.”

Like the standard model, the concept should feature two removable 1.96 kWh battery packs and an electric motor with 15 hp (11 kW / 15 PS) and 41 lb-ft (55 Nm) of torque. This setup enables the standard motorcycle to accelerate from 0-30 mph (0-48 km/h) in three seconds and travel approximately 59 miles (95 km) on a single charge. When the battery is drained, an optional fast charger can top up the battery from 0 to 80 percent in about three hours.

While this motorcycle is unique, the 2024 BMW CE 02 starts at $7,599 and is available now.
