The X3 40D XDrive insists on using the power assembly upgrade, and will use the 3.0 -liter six -cylinder diesel engine and mild hybrid technology in May. It is the most powerful diesel variant because its combined output is 299 HP (223 KW / 303 PS) and 494 LB-FT (670 NM) torque. The cross-border vehicles built in South Africa will accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) within 5.4 seconds, and then reach the maximum speed of 152 mph (245 km/h).
