BMW has launched its most powerful M model, the XM Label, in India. Priced at Rs 3.15 crore (ex-showroom India), the BMW XM Label is a 5,110 mm long SUV that rides on 22-inch M light alloy wheels. Only 1/500 units of the XM Label produced globally will make it to our market, ensuring exclusivity. The model will be imported as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) with a plaque below the Control Display reading “1/500”.
The regular XM (Rs 2.60 crore ex-showroom) makes 644 hp and 800 Nm of torque, while the company’s most powerful XM Label gets a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid engine that produces 738 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. With the ICE (internal combustion engine), the XM Label produces 577 hp and 750 Nm of torque, while the car’s hybrid system produces 194 hp and 280 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The XM Label has an electric range of 76-82 km (official data), while the XM has a range of 82-89 km. Official data shows that the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.8 seconds and the top speed is 250 km/h. After the optional M driving package, the top speed can be increased to 290 km/h.

In terms of design, the XM Label features Toronto Red Metallic side trim. Red is also evident around the kidney grille surround, rear diffuser insert, model badge, window surrounds and wheel inserts. In addition, the kidney grille and diffuser elements are surrounded by high-gloss black.
The vehicle in the pictures is finished in the BMW Individual Frozen Carbon Black metallic exterior color. It rides on 22-inch light-alloy wheels. Viewed as a whole, it features clear lines, large surfaces and a front-end appearance. “It combines an M hybrid system with additional power and bespoke design elements to showcase its outstanding performance attributes to unique effect. The BMW XM label meets the needs and wishes of customers who enjoy an extrovert lifestyle and are keen on ultimate performance in cars that go beyond traditional conventions,” said Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of the BMW Group.

In terms of interior, the XM Label also uses a red and black interior. The black leather seats are contrasted with red stitching. In addition, the car is also equipped with knee pads, M multifunctional seats, head-up display, BMW curved display with M-specific content, control panel on the center console, Boost mode, Bowers & Wilkins Diamond sound system (equipped with 1,475 watt amplifier and 20 speakers) and exclusive M Lounge bench in the rear.
Red brake calipers, active roll stabilization, Dynamic Brake Control, BMW Adaptive M Suspension Professional, Cornering Brake Control, six airbags and ISOFIX mounts are also part of the features list.

In terms of competition, the BMW XM Label competes with the likes of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX 707.
