Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Downtown A $4 million renovation has been unveiled, ushering in a new era for the 216-room hotel. In addition to technology improvements such as enhanced Wi-Fi capabilities and keyless locks, the renovation also revamped the lobby, meeting and event spaces, bars, lounges and restaurants, and added a new fitness center.
Located in downtown Bethesda, within walking distance of trendy shopping and restaurants, this hotel provides a beautiful base from which to easily explore the surrounding areas. It is just one block from the Bethesda Metro Station, 6 miles from historic Georgetown, and 7 miles from downtown Washington, D.C.
The redesign draws inspiration from nature, using a soothing, muted color palette with vibrant pops of color to reflect Bethesda’s changing seasons. The modern aesthetic features timeless finishes and warm, inviting furniture styles. Lobby and public space seating focuses on communal configurations to encourage interaction, emphasizing warmth, natural light, and abstract and realistic art throughout the hotel to create a residential feel.
The 1,662 square feet of meeting and event space is designed to be versatile and can accommodate a variety of meetings and events. Four different event rooms are equipped with internet capabilities, projectors, presentation screens and audio-visual equipment for clear sound and video conferencing.

Parker Hotel A new-look hotel in Park City, Colorado, has debuted. The area’s only boutique lifestyle hotel, formerly known as Ascent on Main, has 51 rooms. The overall design combines themes of Art Deco, westward expansion, and the technological revolution, mimicking the historically influential local atmosphere.
The Parker Hotel prioritizes eye-catching spaces and a strong sense of community. Upper Deck Sports Bar is the only rooftop space in downtown Parker, offering 2,748 square feet of indoor space and 3,066 square feet of outdoor space for exciting private events. The Roosevelt Room is adjacent to the lobby and offers an additional 1,000 square feet of space, and the fourth-floor Summit Room offers an additional 1,000 square feet with elevated views of the Front Range. The Parker Hotel is also home to premier retail venues, including Victoria Marie Jewelers, Leffy’s Cigar Emporium and the award-winning Doug’s Diner and West Main Taproom + Grill. The Parker Hotel’s signature dinner restaurant, Douglas Kitchen and Cocktails, will undergo a renovation and concept refresh this fall.
Oasis in the center of action
Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Medical Area UIC Debuts in the rapidly expanding Illinois Medical District on Chicago’s west side. The new hotel is located within the new Gateway on the IMD campus and provides direct access to the 600-acre community, which features retail and restaurant venues, community gathering spaces and more than 40 healthcare institutions, including major health systems, research laboratories, universities and biotechnology visitors, making it an ideal base for visiting the University of Illinois at Chicago or attending a Joint Center event.
