Brightspot Incentives & Events is pleased to announce the hiring of Mary Clare Darland, CITP, CIS, as Senior Manager of Procurement and Supplier Relations. The addition of Mary Clare to the existing procurement team reflects Brightspot’s continued growth and commitment to strengthening supplier relationships and strategic sourcing within the incentive travel and events industry.

Mary Clare brings a wealth of experience to her new role, developing her skills in a variety of procurement and supplier relations roles. Most recently, she served as Director of Procurement for Maritz, where she excelled in contract negotiations, delivering significant cost savings to clients while maintaining the highest quality standards. Mary Clare is known for her dynamic leadership and has a proven track record of optimizing strategy and building strong industry relationships.

Mary Clare is a passionate advocate for the incentive travel industry and has been actively involved in SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence). She is currently an active board member of SITE International and a member of SITE Midwest, where she served as Vice President of Sponsorships from 2016 to 2018 and President from 2018 to 2020. Her work at SITE has established her as a leader in the field. areas, further strengthening Brightspot’s commitment to driving excellence in incentive travel programs.
