The BSA Gold Star 650 has been available in overseas markets for a while now and it will finally make its way to the Indian market tomorrow. The owner of this model is Classic Legends and this also marks the first time that a BSA motorcycle will enter the Indian market. The new model retains the classic design elements of the original BSA Gold Star from the 1960s and will appeal to the die-hard fans of BSA. It features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, wire-spoke wheels, a round headlight with daytime running lights (DRLs), and round analog dials with inverted readouts.
The unique exhaust, fake fins and retro crankcases further enhance the classic look of this motorcycle. BSA Gold Star 650: Engine
The BSA Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve engine that produces 45bhp at 6,000rpm and 55Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and a slip-assist clutch.
BSA Gold Star 650: The Hardware
The Gold Star bike has a cradle frame supported by a 41 mm telescopic shock absorber at the front and a twin shock absorber at the rear with 5 levels of preload adjustment. The bike is equipped with a 320 mm front disc shock absorber and a 255 mm rear disc shock absorber and comes standard with a dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The bike has an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch spoke wheel at the rear with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tires.

BSA Gold Star 650: Expected Price and Market Competitors
The upcoming motorcycle is expected to be priced at a starting price of Rs 2.7 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It will compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which is priced at a starting price of Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom).
