At the 2025 Auto Show, BYD Hiace 7 made its debut, a high-end electric SUV that combines fashion, performance and cutting-edge technology. Pre-orders are now open, with deliveries expected to begin on March 7, 2025.

Sealion 7 is expected to be priced around Rs. 45 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in two variants:

The Performance model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, which is impressive for a vehicle of this size and showcases the sporty DNA of an SUV.

Hiace 7 stands out with its modern SUV coupe-like design. Sharp LED headlights, tapered roofline, flush door handles and two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels (20-inch wheels are optional) add to its premium aesthetic. At the rear, connected taillights and a sporty spoiler complete the bold appearance.

Sealion 7 incorporates BYD’s latest innovations, including battery-to-body (CTB) technology, which integrates blade batteries into the chassis to improve safety and handling. It also features Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC) for enhanced driving stability.

The Sealion 7 has a range of up to 567 kilometers (premium version), making it ideal for long journeys. The vehicle’s V2L (Vehicle to Load) feature allows users to power appliances directly from the car’s battery.

BYD Hiace 7 is a well-built SUV that satisfies both performance seekers and environmentally conscious buyers. Its bold design, high-tech features and impressive range make it a serious contender in the premium EV segment, rivaling the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
