Byd Sealion 7 price starts at Rs 48.9 crore

After recently showing off the Byd Sealion 7 Electric SUV at Bharat Mobility Expo, Byd India announced the premium and price for the car’s performance variant.

The Byd Sealion 7’s design itself is part of the BYD family, which follows similar design languages ​​and Front-Fascia styling that exist on the Byd Sealed Sedan. It features devices like a 15.6-inch rotating touch screen, 128-color ambient lighting, ventilation and heated seats, and Byd’s Vehicle Arrival (VTOL), which allows the Sealion 7 to allow the Sealion 7 to power any electronic device, such as the power bank.

The Byd Sealion 7 Premium variant costs Rs 489.99 crore (former showroom), and produces 230 kW (313 hp) and 380 nm. The claimed NEDC range is 567 kilometers.

The performance variant is priced at Rs 54.9 lakh (former showroom), which boosts it to the output 390 kW (530 hp) and 690 nm grade, while the NEDC claims range is 542 km.

Both variants have an 82.56 kWh battery pack with Byd’s blade battery technology and an 8-year warranty. BYD will also offer a free 7 kW charger as well as free installation.

Some of the Byd Sealion 7’s competitors in the electric space include the BMW IX1, currently available at an introductory price of Rs 4.9 lakh (former showroom) and Mercedes-Benz EQA, which will give you Rs 6.72 lakh (former showroom). Byd Sealion 7 certainly offers a new alternative to its German competitors and appears to be a powerful addition to Byd Indian fleet.
