- Cadillac has announced plans to offer a new precision package for the CT5-V Blackwing.
- The kit includes a revised suspension with stiffer springs and a larger front stabilizer.
- Buyers will also find carbon-ceramic brakes and various other changes.
Cadillac unveiled the facelifted CT5-V Blackwing earlier this year, and now the company has announced that the model will be available with a new Precision Package designed to enhance its “dynamic performance” on both the street and track.
var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){ adpushup.triggerAd(“4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a”); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd(“6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657”); } });
The upgrades are pretty extensive, as the kit adds larger front stabilizers, stiffer springs, and revised suspension bushings. They combine with new front steering knuckles as well as new rear suspension toe links to allow for “more aggressive wheel alignment for track use.”

The Precision Package also adds carbon-ceramic brakes and a host of other refinements, including tweaks to the MagneRide dampers, steering, and electronic limited-slip differential.
window._taboola = window._taboola || (); _taboola.push({ mode: ‘thumbnails-a-mid’, container: ‘taboola-mid-article’, placement: ‘Mid Article’, target_type: ‘mix’ } );

Cadillac says the changes “help improve steering precision, increase vehicle stability through turns and provide better road feel in aggressive driving situations.” The company also promises that the upgrades won’t compromise the “luxury and refinement” the brand is known for.
Vehicles equipped with the package will go on sale early next year, and pricing will be announced closer to the launch. That being said, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will begin arriving at dealerships this summer.
The car has a redesigned styling and an upgraded interior with a new 33-inch curved display that has Google built-in, providing access to the Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play Store.
Power is provided by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 668 hp (498 kW / 677 PS) and 659 lb-ft (892 Nm) of torque. It can be connected to either a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic transmission.
