LAS VEGAS – The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES®), presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, takes place in Las Vegas in January and is known for its bustling exhibit halls, innovative products on display, insightful Keynote speeches and impactful connection building to reflect the technology landscape. At a pre-show press conference, CTA CEO Gary Shapiro said this year’s CES will be bigger than in past years. This year’s show spans an impressive 2.5 million square feet across 12 different venues.

CTA reported before the show that this year’s show will be attended by more than 300 Fortune 500 companies, with representatives from 166 countries, regions and regions participating, consolidating its status as the world’s top event.
“We expect about 40% of our attendees to be from outside the United States. It also attracts thousands of media and content creators who help promote the show and the innovative products exhibitors launch at the show.

CTA 2025 Industry Forecast
At the event, CTA’s Senior Director of Innovation and Trends Brian Comiskey and Vice President of Marketing and Communications Melissa Harrison also shared some insights from its Future of Tech 2025 forecast, which focuses on shifting demographics and purchasing patterns, digitalization Coexistence, human security, community and longevity.
The forecast also shows that total industry retail revenue in the U.S. technology market is expected to increase from $520 billion in 2024 to $537 billion in 2025.
