Colorful, convenient and cool: Kranzberg Arts

Astrid Zeppenfeld

St. Louis is home to many excellent, well-known event spaces for corporate planners, but one may find the most memorable meeting venues only through word of mouth. Especially for meeting and event planners accustomed to holding large meetings in large, square rooms, the Kranzberg Art Foundation offers a new twist on corporate meetings and events.

so many choices

The Kranzberg Arts Foundation has several impressive venues, so it’s easy to choose to trust this organization for your event. The hardest part is choosing a specific space. The options range from a tree-lined rooftop terrace with stunning views of the downtown St. Louis area to a large ballroom with windows all around that offer views of the city of St. Louis even in the winter when the rooftop terrace is too cold. panorama. If you need a stage to showcase new products or services to attendees, you can choose from three actual theaters for your event. And if you’re really looking for something cool and different for a large conference of up to 1,200 people, you can rent The Big Top – a real Circus Flora circus tent!

A grand event under the big roof

Anne Ramsey is the resource development special events manager for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, where she enjoys organizing the company’s annual gala at The Big Top. With more than 500 attendees, she was only able to attend the event at the Big Top event space, although she appreciates the many other venues the Kranzberg Art Foundation can offer for parties with fewer than 500 attendees. “They have so many eclectic and fun options, which is why I love the Kranzberg Art Foundation,” Ramsey explained. “The Big Top is just awesome and one of a kind. It fits ours perfectly.” Party. Also, it was a pleasure working with Becky (Hale),” she added thoughtfully, “but I can’t wait to do an event at Zack’s, where the indoor/outdoor space is gorgeous.”

.Zack consists of five venues that can be rented individually or in combination (if you want to host an indoor/outdoor event, for example). Sally’s rooftop garden not only serves as an event space, but is actually operated by Urban Harvest STL as a food garden that provides a great patio space for cocktail parties overlooking the city of St. Louis and the Arch. The hotel also features a café and full-service catering company, one of three theaters, an artist lounge and an urban ballroom. You can accommodate 50 attendees in the lounge, 350 attendees in the City Ballroom, and of course more if your event is just a cocktail party, so within the .Zack building alone you have a variety of Event spaces are available. Becky Hale, director of special events for the Kranzberg Art Foundation, explained that companies can rent the entire building if they wish. This sounds like a good idea for all-day meetings that may sometimes require separate areas for breakout sessions.

The Kranzberg Arts Center offers three smaller meeting spaces that can accommodate gatherings of 60-100 people. At the Grandel Theater and Hall you can host large events for up to 450 people. Last but not least, High Low provides another venue for smaller events. All told, the Kranzberg Art Foundation offers meeting and event planners 11 different, unique event space locations to choose from when planning your next business gathering.

Andrew Beer, Sales Manager at Logic Systems Sound & Lighting, one of the partner companies, said: “Working with Becky Hale and the KAF team, we were treated as true partners. They encouraged us to bring ideas and suggestions into the creative process, creating a collaborative Atmosphere, elevate every project with Becky at Big Top. Working on a project is always a fun and creative experience, and while converting a circus tent presents unique challenges, the possibilities are endless for every event in the space, whether it’s a concert, gala, or actual circus. All become a truly unique experience in St. Louis.”

So, clear the ring—the circus is about to begin!
