Hyundai Creta/ev and Maruti Grand Vitara are two best-selling compact SUVs in February 2025

Sales of compact SUVs (4.2 million to 4.4 million) in February 2025 were slightly 2.06%, while Mom’s sales suffered a 14.61% setback. Currently, including 14 models, 47,055 units sold last month, sales increased by 2.06%, while 46,106 units sold in February 2024 in February 2024. However, sales of 55,107 units sold in January 2025 fell by 14.61% by 14.61%. This is related to a decline in sales volumes in 8,052 units.

Compact SUV – YOY Sales February 2025

Hyundai Creta and its electric rivals are the first. Sales last month were 16,317 units, up 6.81% from 15,279 units sales in the same period last year. Currently, it currently holds a 34.68% market share with a market share of 34.68% thanks to its segment-leading features.

Kia Seltos sales rose 2.89% last month, up from 6,446 units of 6,265 units. The second is Toyota Hyryder, with sales falling 22.98% to 4,314 units. There were 5,601 units sold in February 2024. A relatively new entrant is Tata Curvv/EV, which sold 3,483 units last month. Honda’s rising number fell 54.02%, with unit sales in February 2025 at 1,464 units, down from 3,184 units sold in February 2024. The increase in sales fell by 1,720 units.

In the case of Volkswagen Taigun, sales growth can also be seen, with 1,271 units sold last month and 1,035 units sold by the Skoda Kushaq. Mahindra BE5 accounts for 991 units sold. Lower down the sales list models such as the MG ZS EV suffered a 31.44% YoY decline to 399 units from 582 units sold in Feb 2024. The XUV400 EV too saw its sales drop by 47.21% to 322 units while MG Astor sales were down by 74.52% to 264 units, Trailing the list were the Citroen C3 Aircross and Basalt with 43 units and 37 units.

Compact SUV – Mom Sales February 2025

On the basis of mom, the sales of compact SUVs are frustrating. Sales fell by 14.61% from 55,107 units sold in January 2025, i.e. sales of CRETA (-11.90%), Grand Vitara (-32.41%), Seltos (-0.37%) and Hyryder (-12.69%).

The MOM of the Tata Curvv and its electric counterparts grew by 12.83%, from 3,087 units sold in January 2025 to 3,483 units in the past month. Sales on the elevated, Taigun and Kushaq end in red. Mahindra BE5 also witnessed a 41.57% increase in MOM of 700 units sales in January 2025.

MG ZSEV, XUV400 EV and MG ASTOR reported that double-digit demand has increased. ZSEV grew from 265 units to 399 units, and Mom’s sales increased by 11.81% from 288 units in January 2025 to 322 units. Astor sold 190 units in January 2025, which increased significantly by 38.95%, while reducing 190 units on the other hand. Citroen C3 Aircross and Basalt and Basalt and Basalt and Basalt and Baul a Momaker an 59.81% and 39.81%.
