Cretan-inspired design and feature upgrades

First launched in May 2019, Modern Venue has successfully completed its five-year journey in India. Now, it’s time for a replacement, which is expected to happen before the end of 2025. The all-new model of the compact SUV has entered testing, and we saw its first spy shots in South Korea last month. Codenamed QU2i, the 2025 Hyundai Venue is likely to sport completely revised styling inspired by the new Creta and Alcazar SUVs.

The spy shots show a split headlight setup, which is very similar to the unit offered on the Creta. The new venue will also feature a redesigned front grille with a wider, more rectangular design. The front bumper looks taller than before. At the rear, horizontally placed taillights are connected by a light bar and an upright tailgate, giving its silhouette a crisp look.

Later versions will come with ADAS kit, as spy test mules were spotted equipped with modules and parking sensors. Level 1 ADAS technology is likely to be upgraded to Level 2 suites. The current setup includes features such as forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping and following assist, lane departure warning, forward vehicle departure alert, driver attention warning and high beam assist. The new modern venue will also feature a redesigned dashboard. The seat upholstery, switchgear and steering wheel are expected to be updated, while the screen setup is likely to become larger. Hyundai may improve its material quality for a more premium feel. The new venue may also feature a panoramic sunroof.

The engine-gearbox combination will be carried over from the current generation. The 2025 Hyundai Venue will continue to offer the same 1.2L naturally aspirated gasoline, 1.0L turbo gasoline, and 1.5L diesel engine options.
