In addition to the motorcade, Trump and his new friends were in Texas watching the testing of the Starship rocket. The launch, which took place on November 19 at Starbase, was designed to “expand the range of ship and booster capabilities and further enable online reuse of the entire system.”
SpaceX went on to say that “the Super Heavy booster successfully lifted off at the beginning of the launch window, with all 33 Raptor engines powering it, and Starship took off from Starbase.” However, things took a turn and an “automatic health check” triggered The innovative capture maneuver was aborted and the booster was transferred to the Gulf of Mexico for splashdown.
