Damd turns Honda N-Box into a mini-range race
  • Damd has launched two new kits for the Honda N-box, called Angie and Rodney.
  • Angie takes a crossover clue, while Rodney focuses on a premium look.

If you think the Honda N-Box Joy Campervan is the most stylish Kei van out there, hold your horse as the Japanese tuner Damd has some new tricks on its sleeve. Meet Anji and Rodneytwo custom kits are designed to give Honda a tiny personality and talent, allowing customers to convert a compact n-box into something unique.

The Angie package offers crossover-inspired upgrades that fit the regular Honda N-Box and N-Box Joy. The outstanding feature here is the redesigned front end, which exudes some serious Random resonance. We’re talking about a larger grille with four position lights, fresh bumper air intakes, and (if you’re feeling adventurous), it’s a resilient stretch that can add some toughness.

The profile can be equipped with decals with checkered patterns, and if you want a more complete pseudo-highway feel, you can combine its Kei car feel with the kit, which combines the kit with 15-inch nitro-powered M6 Carbine alloy wheels, Tanabe’s suspension lift kit, and even a roof rack.

Go to Rodney, which is specifically used for the more advanced Honda N-box customs. This explains the different LED graphics on the headlights, full-width LED rods and black alloy wheels that have been installed in stock N-box Custom.

Rodney uses a similar front bumper design to Angie, although the resulting build looks more suitable for road use. The new parts are made of ABS plastic and can be done in any color.

Additional features of Rodney include side trim and sharp side skirts, combined with the sports layer of N-box customs. Finally, the copper accent helps with the premium look, so the kei car is reminiscent of a baby (and loose) Range Rover Evoque.

The Damd does not offer any performance upgrades for small 658cc engines with 58 hp (43 kW / 58 PS) and 63 hp (47 kW / 64 PS), depending on the trim. Power is transmitted to the front or all four wheels via the CVT transmission.

N-Box Angie and Rodney initially announced in 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon that it is now available for ordering in Japan, whether it is a kit or a full version.

According to Damd’s official website, Angie costs 258,500 yen ($1,700), while Rodney costs 215,600 yen ($1,400). These prices do not include optional parts such as Angie’s wheels, suspension and roof rack as shown in the picture.
