- Stellantis has five of the slowest-selling cars in the United States, a study shows, as the company’s woes continue.
- The Dodge Hornet and Jeep Grand Wagoneer both have an astounding 428-day supply of inventory.
- Toyota’s Highlander, RAV4, Camry and other models lead the best-selling car market with their rapid update speed.
Dodge has sold just 23,436 Hornets in the U.S. this year, so it’s no surprise the car was recently ranked as its slowest-selling model. It faces some luxury competition from the Stellantis family, though.

According to CarEdge, the Dodge Hornet and Jeep Grand Wagoneer both have 428 days of inventory. That’s more than a year of inventory, and the Stellantis makes up half of the list of the top 10 slowest-selling models.

The Maserati Levante ranked fourth with 410 days of inventory, while the smaller Maserati Grecale followed closely behind in seventh place with 370 days of inventory. The fifth and final Stellantis model to underperform was the Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, which had 354 days of inventory.

Luxury brands dominate the list, with the electric Mercedes EQB in third place with 427 days of supply. This model isn’t very exciting, as it starts at $53,050 and has an EPA-estimated range of just 251 miles (404 km). Opting for the EQB 300 4MATIC makes things look even worse, as the price rises to $57,200 and the range plummets to 205 miles (330 km). With numbers like these, slowing sales is almost certain.

Other models that struggled include the Lincoln Aviator, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Mini Hardtop 4-Door and Acura ZDX.
On the other hand, the three fastest-selling models are all from Toyota. They are Highlander (23), RAV4 (30) and Camry (31). The company is also lower on the list, as the Corolla, Corolla Cross and Lexus RX Hybrid all have a 36-day inventory.
Other models in short supply include the Honda Civic, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Porsche 911 and Chevrolet Traverse.
