- Dodge has unveiled two special edition Durango models to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hemi V8 in the SUV.
- The $113,000 Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and $67,000 R/T 20th Anniversary Edition both come with extra equipment and special graphics.
- There are no mechanical changes to the 710-hp 6.2L V8 supercharged in the SRT and the 360-hp 5.7 naturally aspirated in the R/T.
The V8 Charger and Challenger have been discontinued, and Dodge is phasing out the Hemi in the Durango SUV. But before that, Dodge will launch two special edition muscle cars to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Durango and Hemi V8 partnership.
In January, Dodge unveiled the Last Call Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI, a special edition SUV with a 6.4-liter, 475-horsepower (482 PS) V8 engine, and now the SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and R/T 20th Anniversary extend the fun to other V8 engines in the Durango lineup.

The Silver Bullet is based on the top-of-the-line Durango Hellcat, which means it’s powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter engine with 710 horsepower (710 PS) and is the first Durango special edition ever. The less wild and more attainable R/T 20th is powered by a more modest naturally aspirated 5.7-liter Hemi engine that produces 360 horsepower (365 PS).
Silver Bullet models feature a satin black hood, gray metallic SRT Hellcat badging, SRT black exhaust tips and rear Dodge badge, red six-piston Brembo brake calipers and 20-inch “Lights Out” finish wheels. Inside, Ebony Red Nappa leather seats with SRT Hellcat badging appear for the first time on a Durango, along with carbon fiber interior trim, a suede steering wheel and a matching headliner.
If you like all that but not the $113,325 price tag ($6,000 more than the most expensive 2024 Durango Hellcat), the R/T 20th Anniversary Edition offers the same vibe for about 60 percent of the price (see photo below). Sure, you also only get 50 percent of the Hellcat’s power, but the R/T still looks pretty good with its black Hemi hood graphics, “345” fender badges, and 20-inch Y-spoke forged brass Monkey wheels.
Other features of the Anniversary Edition include carbon fiber interior trim and second-row captain’s chairs, as well as Dodge’s Tow N Go package, which includes an upgraded chassis and brakes, as well as an 8,700-pound (3,946-kilogram) towing capacity—up from 7,400 pounds (3,357 kilograms). It costs $66,970 before destination charge, or you can go Premium and add better audio and extra safety kit for $70,470.
