  • Dodge launches the Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hemi power.

  • It sells for $113,720 and is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces 710 horsepower.

If the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead and Durango R/T 20th Anniversary Edition don’t pique your interest, maybe the new Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey will satisfy your needs. With this being the fourth special edition in 2025, it’s clear we’ve entered overkill territory. But then again, isn’t that what Dodge does best?

So what makes this product stand out? Not much, but this model has a red oxide exterior, a satin black hood, and black exhaust tips. They also feature special badging and 20-inch brass Monkey wheels, and feature six-piston Brembo brakes with black calipers.

In addition to the subtle but striking exterior, the Brass Monkey also features a two-tone interior with tan Laguna leather seats with SRT Hellcat logos embroidered on the backrests. They’re tied together by a leather and suede steering wheel, silver/tan decorative stitching, and a wrap-around instrument panel. Other highlights include a suede headliner, forged carbon fiber trim and black chrome accents.

In addition to special trim, the Durango comes with a sunroof, a wireless smartphone charger, and a 10.1-inch infotainment system. They also come with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and a range of driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control.

2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey Debuts As A $113,720 Special Edition

Power is provided by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 710 hp (529 kW / 720 PS) and 645 lb-ft (874 Nm) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, run the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds, and reach a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). Hour).

As before, the brand directs customers to use the Dodge Horsepower Locator tool on DodgeGarage.com to find dealers with the latest special editions. However, the website only lists the 2024 Durango SRT 392 Alchemi, so just pick up the phone and pretend it’s a 1978 one.

Unfortunately, pricing doesn’t predate the dot-com era, as the Special Edition starts at a whopping $113,720 (not including destination charge). Apparently, Dodge’s nostalgia for old-school communication doesn’t extend to old-school pricing.
