Driving into the road to sustainable development paves the way for the world

As the global automotive industry transitions to cleaner transport, Thailand is taking steps to support eco-technology in multiple sectors, including exhibitions. With over 1 trillion baht of investment in electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and consistent government support, the country is developing a growing EV ecosystem. The establishment of a special economic zone for vehicle parts manufacturing further strengthens Thailand’s role in the regional electric vehicle supply chain.

While hydrogen-powered vehicles have long-term potential, current efforts are focused on advancing electric vehicle adoption. These initiatives aim to give economic and environmental value and encourage increased stakeholder participation in sustainable development.

Exhibition venues are gradually integrating green infrastructure, including electric vehicle charging stations and parking facilities. Some locations also use electric Tuk-tuks and shuttle buses for on-site transportation, reflecting efforts to reduce emissions and improve visitor mobility.

An example of this transition is the upcoming 2025 Electric Motor Expo (November 29-December 10 at Impact Challenger), which will highlight the latest developments in EV innovation and green mobility. Such activities contribute to broader industry dialogue and provide a platform for international cooperation for future transportation technologies.
