Have the family ride in a car, pack reels and beach towels, and head to Easter weekends (and take advantage of a series from the public holidays in April and May).
As Sun International’s only seaside resort, this means there is a lot of water-based activities in the wild coast sun – from outdoor water parks to hotel pools and hotels on the Mtamvuna River. This is an ideal destination for full entertainment in the sun. Even the South Coast winter season has mild temperatures, sunny skies and minimal rainfall.
Easter Children’s Disco Saturday, April 19, 2025
Easter weekend will be thrilling young guests with Easter children’s disco carnival on Saturday, April 19, 2025. It will be a fun afternoon game, music, dance and awesome prizes from 15h00 to 18h00 in Squawkers Cove. It will be open to children aged 12 and under. The entrance is free, but the space is limited, so it is for sale first.
Easter egg hunting, April 20, 2025
A whopping 2500 Easter eggs will be hidden around the resort for a big hunt on Sunday. It’s for kids of the same age as a disco, so hopefully they still have energy after a Saturday party! Hunting is from 12h00 to 13h00, so let them sleep late. There will be six golden eggs, and anyone who is lucky can find one of them, one of which will win a R1 500 share in the Magic Company voucher.
Funny hypnotist Andre
The entire family can perform with the lively hypnotist André – who will stay at home throughout the Easter weekend at the Tropical Nites Theatre from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21. The show is a perfect blend of comedy and hypnosis, with audience members becoming part of the wonder. Prepare for lively antics, mindsets and spontaneous moments that will surprise you and sew.
Tickets range from R100 and R150 and can be purchased through online tickets.

Whether you’re competitive or just looking for some fun in the sun, there’s something for everyone. Bring your family, friends and a good sense of adventure as you enjoy these exciting waterfront challenges.
The sun on the wild coast is not only related to climax and holidays—there are a lot to do with guests and tourists throughout the year.
Take a guided double-decker boat on the river on the boat or if you don’t mind getting your hair wet, splash on Wild Waves Water Park. Other water-based activities include standing paddle boards or sitting paddle boating, canoeing, kayaking or fast-cargo gasoline adventures to explore the river’s unpolluted coastline, forming the border between KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. For an easy day on shallow land in rivers, fishermen can throw away lines in hopes of cilantro, rock cod and other fish in bronze. Guests can rent rods or welcome to bring their own fishing rods.
When all the fun is done, have a cocktail at the Riverside Water Sports Beach Bar and stuff it into the burger and distribute rolls, hot dogs, bacon and egg rolls. There is even a “belt and braai” facility that allows family and friends to relax.
At the outdoor water park you will find rides and swimming pools for adults, children and toddlers. From adrenaline addicts to moderately stimulating people, and those who like to walk along lazy rivers or hanging out books (or even massage options) on lazy rivers—there is something for everyone. One-day tickets are available for those who do not live in hotels.
Not integrated into the water? We have you guys. Aloha Village in the resort offers ten-pin bowling and arcade games where golf enthusiasts can kick off in a picturesque championship game or meet Lady Luck indoors at the gaming table.
Need more adrenaline? Choose from three four-cycling tours to enter the 750 hectares of lush indigenous bushes surrounding the resort. Whether you have ridden a four-wheel bike before or have zero experience, the tour can meet the needs of both skilled and beginners. The knowledgeable guide provided the group with a quick lesson before going out.
When you are exhausted from excitement, discover a variety of flavors and delicacies in the restaurants and bars of Wild Coast Sun. You can have a quick bite in a fast food restaurant or put down an Indian Ocean background in a variety of sitting restaurants for a variety of flavors and occasions.
