EDPA Midwest to host annual student design showcase

Emerging designers present their final projects to industry professionals in EDPA’s annual Midwest Design Challenge.

EDPA Midwest invites industry members to participate in the 2024 Student Design Showcase, the final event of the organization’s annual Design Challenge program in partnership with Carthage College. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Itasca Country Club, 400 East Orchard Street, Itasca, IL.

Throughout the design challenge, Carthage College’s senior graphic design students worked with industry mentors to develop projects that met the requirements of the professional creative brief. At the showcase, students will present their final designs to a panel of industry experts, who will select the grand prize winner based on how well each design matches the brief’s specifications.

Tickets to the exhibition include dinner, with the following options:

• Attendees – Chicken Dinner: $70.00 (plus $1.75 service fee)
• Attendees – Vegetarian Dinner: $70.00 (plus $1.75 service fee)

The showcase provides industry professionals with an excellent opportunity to network with emerging designers and support the next generation of exhibition and experience design talent. Attendees will also network with peers, enjoy dinner and celebrate students’ creativity and hard work.
