- An 18-year-old woman was thrown from the truck and taken to hospital in critical condition.
- Speed is believed to have been a factor in the horrific accident.
- Recently, there was also a second accident in Mexico that had nothing to do with the Cybertruck.
Since deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck to customers began late last year, we’ve seen a number of photos and videos involving crashes. However, aside from an incident a few months ago where a Cybertruck crashed and burst into flames, we haven’t seen an accident with as much damage to this truck as this one. If you’ve ever wondered what a smashed Cybertruck looks like, well, this is it.
The Tesla was reportedly destroyed after crashing into a statue in Guadalajara, Mexico over the weekend. The exact cause of the accident has not been confirmed, although local media suggested speed may have been a factor. The extent of the damage speaks for itself.

Photos shared on social media showed the Cybertruck parked on its roof in the middle of the road with extensive damage to its front and rear dashboard and sides. It was badly damaged, almost unrecognizable, and shockingly, three of the wheels and hubs on the truck had been torn off, giving us some idea of the forces involved.
Even Tesla CEO Elon Musk got wind of the accident and shared photos of his destroyed Tesla to Solid”.

Local media outlet Monclova reported that four people were inside the Cybertruck at the time of the accident. One of the victims, an 18-year-old woman, was ejected from the Tesla and found lying on the sidewalk. She was taken to hospital in critical condition. Three other passengers avoided serious injury but were also taken to hospital.
This isn’t the only recent accident in Mexico involving a Cybertruck. A few days ago, the futuristic electric car driven by a 23-year-old man crashed into the wall of a property in San Miguel, Chapultepec. The impact deformed the Tesla’s front end. Fortunately, the driver did not suffer any major injuries.
