ESCA’s annual awards night invites attendees to channel Old Hollywood icons and celebrate a year of industry excellence

Los Angeles, CA – Mark your calendars and polish your dancing shoes because the ESCA Winter Celebration & Awards brings glitz, glamor and old Hollywood magic to the world. Majestic City Center on December 15! For one night only, the best in the exhibition world will take to the red carpet in 1950s-inspired attire, ready to celebrate a year’s worth of achievements in true Hollywood fashion.
Regarding the inspiration behind the “Old Hollywood” theme, ESCA Director of Education and Events Rachel Rodean shared:
When asked about the inspiration behind the “Old Hollywood” theme, ESCA Director of Education and Events Rachel Rodean explained that the goal was to create a truly unforgettable experience. “We both work in the experiential events industry, so we wanted to create something truly memorable for this year’s Winter Celebrations and Awards Ceremony, something different from the usual social reception. When we started looking for a venue, The Majestic caught our attention . It’s a venue with incredible history, dating back to 1924, and the details are stunning – crystal chandeliers and painted ceilings – perfect for the Old Hollywood theme. We also think Old Hollywood ties in with our awards show. Our location and theme that excites attendees are a great match. ”
Rodin added that she was particularly excited about the opening red carpet and the chance to see how attendees embraced the theme. “We encourage attendees to dress in the spirit of Old Hollywood glamor, and the response we’re hearing is fantastic! To encourage more participation in the theme, we’ve added a “Best Dressed” award where attendees can vote throughout the night for their best Love the outfit. I thought it would be a fun way to engage everyone and add another layer of excitement. ”
This year, the Exhibition Services and Contractors Association (ESCA) is pulling out all the stops. Following themes from the silver screen, attendees will emulate icons of the past in their best red carpet looks and dazzling looks. It’ll be an evening of high style, lively toasts and maybe a little friendly competition – the kind only Hollywood can inspire. One lucky attendee will even win the coveted Best Dressed Attendee Award, designed to capture the essence of Old Hollywood glamour.
A night fit for the stars
The Majestic’s gates are open from 6:00 pminviting guests into a world of cinematic wonder. At 6:30 p.m., the spotlight will shine on the star of the night – the winners! The ESCA will present six prestigious awards, including the Diversity and Inclusion Award, the Innovation Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes individuals who have made a lasting contribution to the industry. A highlight of the evening was a tribute to this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Chuck Grouzard, in recognition of his pioneering work and dedication to the field.
At 7:15 p.m., the reception began, giving attendees the opportunity to mingle, sip cocktails, and revel in the evening’s theme amid the majestic architecture and historic charm of the majestic downtown. With every detail in place, the ESCA celebration promises to be a blockbuster event, the kind that would have graced the silver screen during Hollywood’s Golden Age.
