The Business of Events announces its signature Global Policy Forum will be held on the 20thth February 2025 at IET London: Savoy Place.
The Global Policy Forum, now in its sixth year, will bring together more than 250 senior business activity leaders, policymakers, politicians, government officials, media and industry stakeholders to discuss the continued development and implementation of the sector’s long-term policy agenda .
Robert Wright, managing director of Davies Tanner and founder of The Business of Events, said: “Since the last Global Policy Forum in late 2023, we have seen some significant changes, including the new UK government. The policies we published ahead of the last general election The agenda continues to form the basis for developing policy ideas aimed at unlocking the economic potential of UK events. We are keen to explore these agenda items further with senior colleagues across the sector and our key stakeholders and policymakers, and the Global Policy Forum provides this. The perfect platform.”
Members of the recently reformed All-Party Parliamentary Events Group and their business partners will also attend the forum to meet leading figures from the UK business events community.
