Awards honor system based trade show exhibits

Minneapolis, Minnesota – The Experience Design Authority is pleased to call for entries for its first annual ExSys Awards competition. Designed to recognize the most innovative and effective systems-based exhibits, the ExSys Awards recognize excellence in design, functionality and user experience for exhibits that leverage systems to create dynamic and engaging environments for trade show and event attendees.

The ExSys Awards recognize the integration of technology, creativity and strategy in trade show displays that enhance attendee interaction, convey key messages and leave a lasting impact on visitors. Whether through unique design, experiential engagement or immersive environments, the ExSys Awards highlight exhibits that push the boundaries of traditional booth design.

“We’re excited to launch the 2025 ExSys Awards and shine a spotlight on the incredible talent and forward-thinking solutions that are transforming the trade show experience,” said Travis Stanton, executive director of the Experience Design Bureau. “There are 20 categories, each There are Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in each category, with many opportunities for recognition. In addition, the highest-rated entry will be named the ExSys Exhibit of the Year, and the organization with the best overall performance will receive the ExSys Award. Institution of the Year Award, the system used in the highest-ranking entry will be named this year’s ExSys Best of Show. System of the Year.”

Eligible entries include trade show exhibits from around the world built using pre-built system-based components such as Aluvision, BeMatrix, Moss, Octanorm, Classic Exhibits or any other exhibit system manufacturer. Exhibitors and designers are encouraged to submit entries that demonstrate how they are leveraging systems to enhance the impact of their trade shows, and how they are using creativity and innovation to raise the standard expected from systems-based exhibitions.

“What’s special about the ExSys Awards and the authority on experience design is that the judging is completely impartial, the scoring process is completely transparent, and the entry fees are set up to ensure even the smallest exhibition companies can submit their best work,” said Stanton. “These awards have the potential to increase employee morale and company pride, contribute to the growth of designers and marketing professionals in our industry, inspire future work and innovation, and provide sample samples that clients can review before sending an RFI or RFP to Helping customers understand what is really possible in the world of exhibition systems.”

The Student Design category will allow undergraduate and graduate level students to submit free entries representing their work using the exhibition system. The competition will also create a Lifetime Achievement Award category that will be free for nominations. Submission deadline:
All entries must be submitted by March 26, 2025. Entries submitted before the early bird deadline (March 5) will receive a discount on the entry fee. The winners will be announced at a special ceremony hosted by Exhibit City News in the summer of 2025.
