Max Verstappen took a stunning victory at the action-packed Sao Paulo Grand Prix, starting from 17th on the grid and claiming his first win since June.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen put in an incredible performance at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. He started from 17th on the grid and made a stunning comeback to seal the victory. The victory significantly increased his lead in the Formula 1 World Championship and brought him one step closer to a fourth title. Verstappen’s main rival Lando Norris had a disappointing race, finishing sixth. This result, coupled with Verstappen’s dominant performance, widened the gap between the two drivers. Additionally, Alpine had a strong weekend with Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly finishing second and third respectively. With two podium finishes, Alpine finished sixth in the Constructors’ Championship.
F1 Brazilian Grand Prix: Sao Paulo Grand Prix results
The Sao Paulo Grand Prix brought good luck to several teams. Mercedes’ George Russell overtook Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to take a commendable fourth place. However, McLaren faces a challenging race. Lando Norris finished sixth, while Oscar Piastri’s seventh place was dropped to eighth due to a penalty.

VCARB had a great weekend, with Yuki Tsunoda capitalizing on Piastri’s penalty to finish seventh and earn the team a double point. Liam Lawson finished ninth. Lewis Hamilton salvaged a point for Mercedes, narrowly beating Sergio Perez to finish 10th.
Haas and Sauber occupied the midfield positions. Despite the penalty, Haas’ Ollie Bearman finished 12th and Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas finished 13th. Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso. Zhou Guanyu finished 15th.

Several drivers were forced to retire. Carlos Sainz, Franco Colapinto and Nico Hulkenberg failed to finish the race due to various incidents. Lance Stroll and Alex Albon were also absent before the start of the game.
