Faraday continues to lose money, but they are surviving on AI-MPV

- Faraday Future teased the upcoming super man before making its debut in June.
- The model has a large amount of illuminated grille and is called AI-MPV.
- Faraday recently posted a $355 million loss, raising questions about its survival.
Faraday Future has released a trailer for the upcoming super minivan. Production is scheduled to begin later this year and become the first member of the value-focused Faraday X lineup.
The van is scheduled to debut in June and has a huge grille that will make Lexus blush. It seems a bit sunken and has a completely enclosed design with a lighting accent.

Other details are difficult to understand, but we can see the slender headlights, the carved hood and the obvious wheel arches. Previous trailers also reveal the universal minivan shape as well as the inflated greenhouse.
Faraday doesn’t say what it means to vans, but they call it “AI-MPV” which will “meet the dynamic and diverse needs of visionary people and their families.” The model also plans to “delivery twice the performance at half the price”.

The Faraday X-Series is designed to compete in the $20,000 to $80,000 price range, and previous reports suggest that the van will be equipped with two rows of leather seats. Second-row passengers are preferred, and they are reportedly welcomed by small refrigerators, as well as heated and massage seats with integrated footstools.
At this point, little is known about the van, but the company previously recommended electric and range-expanded powertrains. Faraday also hinted that it received a refundable reservation in the second quarter of this year.
But, with Faraday Future recently saying that the FX family “depends on getting the right funding and finalizing the necessary agreements”, everything is still in the air. “It’s not reassuring when the automaker has a bad record and posted a loss of $355.8 (£273.9/€328.5).
