The Argo Endurance is like an affordable Trekking with a raised suspension and all-terrain tires
- The Fiat Argo Endurance is a rugged small hatchback for the Brazilian market.
- This model features a raised suspension, all-terrain tires, and underbody protection.
- The Argo Endurance starts at 79,990 Brazilian reals ($14,545), which is cheaper than the Trekking.
Fiat has launched its new Argo small hatchback in Brazil, which combines minimalist styling with a raised suspension and grippy tires. The model is intended for use in agriculture and is a direct competitor to the Volkswagen Polo Robust launched earlier this year.
The Fiat Argo Endurance looks like a cheaper version of the Argo Trekking, minus the roof rails, fog lights and stickers. However, it retains the plastic cladding around the wheel arches and an underbody protector to keep the crankcase safe on rough roads.

More importantly, the new car uses 15-inch wheels with 205/60 R15 all-terrain tires. Thanks to the suspension provided by Trekking, the body height of the new car is also higher than the standard Argo.
According to Fiat, the vehicle has a ground clearance of 186 mm (7.3 inches), an approach angle of 20.5 degrees, and a departure angle of 33 degrees. These numbers are better than some small SUVs, making the Argo more suitable for light off-roading scenarios.
Under the hood of the Argo Endurance is the 1.3-liter Firefly Flex engine that produces 106 hp (79 kW / 107 PS) and 99 lb-ft (134 Nm) of torque. The “Flex” powertrain can run on both gasoline and ethanol. Power is sent exclusively to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
The interior of the Argo Endurance is fairly basic. Standard features are limited to a 3.5-inch trip computer display on the instrument panel, air conditioning with pollen filter, front power windows, remote locks and an anti-theft alarm. The optional Comfort package adds a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, USB charging ports, fog lights and parking sensors.
The Fiat Argo Endurance, with a discounted price of 79,990 Brazilian reals ($14,545), is the cheapest version of the small hatchback with the 1.3-liter powertrain. The more luxurious Argo Trekking starts at 95,990 Brazilian reals ($17,448) with the same engine/transmission combination.
The Fiat Argo was initially launched in 2017 and received a facelift for 2022. The model shares its MLA underpinnings with the Chronos sedan, Pulse SUV, and Fastback coupe SUV. The Argo isn’t the only Fiat model to offer an Endurance trim, as it follows the Strada and Toro pickups.
