Ford dropped four more recalls as quality dilemma continues

  • Ford has solved four more quality issues that require owners to visit the service center.
  • The 3.5-liter F-150 pickup, Adventure and Lincoln Navigator SUV may have misaligned oil plugs.
  • The bus connection may overheat, the F-150 hybrid loses power, and the expedition has safety issues.

When you are a car manufacturer pumping out millions of cars each year, it is understandable that some may suffer from quality Gremlins. But last year, Ford announced a much more recall than rival general managers, and has invested four more campaigns this month, just two weeks after announcing the other four, and two more we didn’t report.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que :()}; adpushup.que.push(function(){if(adpushup.config.platform!==”Desktop”){adpushup.triggerad(“0f7e3106-c4d6-4db4-4db4-8135 c5088799a76a76a76f8”) adpushup.triggerad(“82503191-E1D1-435A-874F-9C78A2A54A2F”);

The first in the new recall involves 4,163 examples of the 2024-2025 F-150, Expedition and 2024 Lincoln Navigator, where the common thread does not have its shared step-frame chassis, but its front 3.5-liter V6.

Ford engineers found that some engines have misaligned oil plugs in the cylinder head, which could cause oil leakage. At best, this will end up messing up your driveway, but it can cause fire and even cause you to spin.

The expedition and navigators returned a regained re-select in our second recall action, but this involved 105,322 SUVs built for the 2018-2020 model year, which was related to the malfunction of the seat belt. The belt premonitors on one or both of the front seats may lock, preventing the belt from extending or extending backwards. Ford dealers will view and replace the retractor if necessary.

Next, we have the F-150 hybrid, which is the 2025 model we are talking about, with only 47 examples affected. question? Incorrect fuses in the high-voltage battery junction box may lead to power loss.

Finally, it was the Transport Connection’s turn to bring the power of shame back to its nearest Ford service warehouse. A total of 152 examples built for 2019-2020 require their powertrain control module (PCM) software upgrades because even after Ford issued a service announcement in 2020, they have left the wrong code left, which overheated some vans.

Ford’s last recall of Bonanza was announced in mid-March 60,000 units in seven different models that require TLC. The four recall issues include cameras that cannot be retracted when the object is detected and windows cannot be retracted. In early March, Ford announced eight different recalls, including five Mavericks. Ten dollars said we will get another one by the end of the month.
