
Newly renovated Grand Hyatt Scottsdale ResortFormerly known as the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, it underwent a $115 million renovation to become the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Arizona.

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort now offers an impressive 90,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space. newly expanded Arizona BallroomSet to open in January 2025, it will nearly triple the space to 24,000 square feet, making the resort a premier venue for large-scale meetings, celebrations and corporate events. Complementing the Arizona Ballroom is the 14,000-square-foot ballroom Vaquero Ballroom 52,000 square feet of existing indoor and outdoor event space was also completely remodeled.

Meeting and event space includes 48 flexible meeting rooms equipped with high-speed internet, state-of-the-art AV support and ample pre-function areas to add an additional 10,000 square feet of social and networking space. The hotel’s 35,000 square feet of outdoor function space further facilitates planners to orchestrate events against the backdrop of the Sonoran Desert landscape.
Exquisite accommodation and unique cabins
The resort offers 496 redesigned accommodations, including residential-style cabins, luxurious Gainey House and a range of rooms with private patios or balconies. Each room has a spa-style bathroom and versatile living space, while the cabins offer separate entertainment areas and kitchenettes.
Specialties prepared by Chef Richard Blais
Celebrity chef Richard Blais brings his acclaimed culinary philosophy to six new dining experiences at the resort. These include modern Italian restaurant La Zozzona and southwestern barbecue joint Mesa Centrale, among others. Two poolside venues, Sandbar and H2Oasis, further enhance the food scene, offering group-friendly dining options in a vibrant environment perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
Renovated pool complex and Avania Wellness spa
The resort’s 2.5-acre pool area offers numerous options for relaxation and entertainment with 10 unique pools, a sandy beach, a 3-tier waterslide and an oceanfront putting green. Avania Spa Recent updates invite guests to experience a wellness journey aligned with nature’s daily rhythms, including treatments such as the CoolSculpting Facial and CBD Trigger Point Therapy. The spa features 19 treatment rooms, salt rooms and fitness facilities, providing a relaxing retreat for groups seeking wellness programs.

For groups seeking outdoor adventure, the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale offers winding jogging trails, scenic biking trails and free bikes for guests to explore the surrounding area.
