On April 20, 2021, the Wanguo Food Square Project of the Guangzhou Imported Food Trading Center in China held an unveiling ceremony at the Yangwan Island International Pavilion in Haizhu District. It is reported that this project has been listed as a key project in the “2021 Guangdong Province Key Task Division Plan (Government Work Report)”, aiming to transform the Guangzhou Imported Food Trading Center in China into an import trade promotion platform.
According to Qi Yilong, chairman of Guangdong Provincial Imported Food Association and CEO of Guangzhou Futusina Network Technology Co., Ltd., the Guangzhou (China) Imported Food Trading Center Wanguo Food Square is located in the Yangwan Island International Pavilion, Haizhu District, Guangzhou. The entrance of the Guangzhou (China) Imported Food Trading Center project aims to build a national imported food trading platform that integrates imported food trade reception, exhibition, marketing and industrial supporting services. It connects global food resources upwards and helps enterprises develop the domestic market downwards, thus forming an industrial center with Guangzhou as the center that connects the world and radiates across the country.
Currently, three national pavilions are preparing to move into the center, namely the Portugal pavilion, the South Korea pavilion and the Argentina pavilion.
