Hero Karizma 210 Sales 0 Last 3 Months

Hero Motocorp launched the Karizma XMR 210 in India on August 29, 2023, with an introductory price of Rs 1.73 lakh (EX-SH). Fast forwarding until the end of March 2025, Karizma XMR 210 is facing sales. Was the model stopped before the release of Karizma XMR 250, or was it facing an identity crisis? Let’s take a closer look and analyze Karizma’s sales performance over the past year.

Hero Karizma 210 Sales Analysis

Analyzing the sales performance of Karizma XMR 210 over the past year, we can see that motorcycles are sold by 4,806 units per month on average 739 units per month. In the context, Yamaha sold 1,06,605 R15 units during the same period, with an average of 8,883 units. Despite the small power and torque of the R15, its cost is far more than the Karizma XMR 210.

If we dig deep into the sales of the Karizma XMR 210, we can see that sales in March 2024 (in the past 12 months) reached 1,874 units, and sales moms have steadily declined, with the only exception being the moms in July 2024. Sales were sold in October 2024 at 7 units, down to 4 units in November 2024, and then sales fell in December 2024, January 2025 and February 2025.

Is it discontinued?

We say that because the Karizma XMR 250 was shown in November 2024, and the Karizma XMR 210 has been on sale for three consecutive months since then – December 2024, January 2025 and February 2025. A quick check was done on Hero Motocorp’s website, Karizma XMR 210 still lists Premia Premia Premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia premia.

The company mocked the Karizma XMR 210 Battle Edition in January 2025, which packs better equipment and more features. However, it never started. This question is further exacerbated whether the hero concedes the ball, focusing only on the Karizma XMR 250, moving forward.

Without the motorcycle discontinued, Hero Motocorp may soon consider launching an update to the Karizma XMR 210 to make it more attractive to potential buyers. Some of these updates may be the USD telescope fork and our recent experience of Xpulse 210’s new TFT cluster during a Media Drive event organized by Hero Motocorp. Additionally, the company needs to rapidly expand its major dealers to provide an advanced experience for potential Karizma buyers.

Karizma’s legacy

On August 29, 2023, the Indian motorcycle market witnessed the revival of the iconic Karizma brand. Karizma played a big role in positioning the Hero Motocorp as the manufacturer of SuperSport machines, which could be fired on the track and toured long distances in one package.

At the 2024 EICMA exhibition, Hero Motocorp revealed the Karizma XMR 250, which will take the Karizma Brand to new heights, launching significant performance growth at about 30 bhp and 25 nm. Although the Karizma XMR 250 has not yet been launched, it seems to have affected Karizma XMR 210 sales in a negative way. That, or Hero Motorcycle may have stopped the Karizma XMR 210 in order to make room for the 250.
