Hero Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels Limited Edition with Decoration

While Hero MotoCorp launched its first middleweight bike Mavrick 440 for India in February 2024, it has already launched a special edition of its flagship Mavrick 440 in the country. The new models are called Thunderwheels and come in a two-tone blue and red livery. The Mavrick 440-badged fuel tank is finished in blue, while the tank extension is trimmed in red and features a Thunderwheels decal with a lightning bolt design. Another noteworthy element is the rod end mirror.

Interestingly, the Hero Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels are a product of Hero MotoCorp’s collaboration with local beverage brand Thums Up. The special edition models will be available in limited quantities and exclusively through paid promotional packs with a unique QR code on the label. To enter the contest, purchasers of promotional packages must scan the label and enter the promotional code. The competition will end on November 15, 2024.

Hero Mavrick 440: Specifications

Otherwise, the Mavrick 440 Thunderwheels Limited Edition model remains unchanged. To refresh your memory, the Hero Mavrick 440 is based on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X 440, albeit with a different design. It features a sturdy fuel tank with integrated extension, round LED headlights with H-shaped daytime running lights, small indicators, integrated saddle and slim rear end. It is available in three variants – base, mid and range-topping – and comes with diamond-cut alloys, a Bluetooth-enabled digital console and dual-channel ABS, depending on the variant chosen.

Powering the Hero Mavrick 440 is a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip assist clutch. While the Hero Mavrick 440 and Harley-Davidson X 440 use the same powertrain and are equally powerful (27bhp at 6,000rpm), the former produces 36Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm, 2Nm less than the latter (38Nm). 4,000 rpm).

Pricing for the special edition model has not yet been announced. For your information, the prices of the Mavrick 440 range from Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.24 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.
