Hero Destini 125 is coming with a new update soon
The manufacturer will soon launch the new Destini 125 scooter in the Indian market. Targeting the year 2024, Hero has significantly revised the design of the Destini 125. The company recently released a new teaser of the upcoming model, showcasing some of the improvements that the upgraded scooter will feature.
In the teaser, the scooter is seen getting disc brakes at the front and possibly drum brakes at the rear. Also, a combination braking system and alloy wheels with tubeless tyres are expected to be offered. The Activa seems to have influenced the design of the new tail lamps, which will use LED units and form the letter ‘H’ representing Hero at the rear. The turn indicators with halogen units are still present on the front apron. However, there is a new ‘H’ shaped LED daytime running lamp and LED headlamp with projector setup. The pillion seat will also get a rear backrest for enhanced comfort. Moreover, Hero MotoCorp will use copper accents and maroon visors for the seats and upholstery. The revamped model is expected to get several new paint options, less chrome and additional features.
Mechanically, the same 124.6cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine coupled to a CVT powers the new Destini 125. In its current configuration, the engine produces 9bhp of maximum power at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.

The scooter currently comes with a digital analogue console, USB charger, pillion seat backrest and storage compartment.
When launched in India, the Hero Destini 125 will compete with the Suzuki Access 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and Honda Activa 125. It is expected to be priced between Rs 80,000 and Rs 85,000.
