EICMA 2024 will kick off next week in Milan, Italy, with a press conference scheduled for November 5-6. It will end on the 10th of next month, the last public day of the exhibition. Hero MotoCorp and its sub-brand Vida will participate in the upcoming EICMA and according to the latest teaser video on social media, Hero will launch four two-wheelers including the new Vida electric scooter.
While the models in question are hidden in the shadows – limiting what we can see – one of them is believed to be the Hero Xpulse 210. It was revealed last week that the new Xpulse 210 ADV is likely to replace the Xpulse 200 4V (Rs 1.47 lakh, ex-showroom) sold in India and will be priced higher than the latter. Although it is not confirmed yet, the Xpulse 210 is expected to be equipped with a more powerful 210cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, which may have an impact on its performance. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the liquid-cooled engine powers the Karizma XMR – 25bhp at 9,250rpm and peak torque of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm, for your reference. Other expected improvements to the new Xpulse include revised styling, a new chassis, long-travel suspension and dual-purpose tires.

Talking about the Karizma XMR, Hero recently filed a design patent for an updated version of the Karizma XMR. Possibly called the Karizma XMR 250, the patent image shows a revised fairing and tank design, as well as an upside-down front suspension setup. Hero’s new 250cc liquid-cooled engine may be installed in the upcoming Karizma. We look forward to Hero unveiling this more powerful Karizma XMR 250 at the auto show.
Hero 2.5R Xtunt is also expected to appear at EICMA 2024. According to the latest patent images, the 2.5R Xtunt will be a naked version of the Karizma XMR 250. The naked bike is expected to feature an angular front cowl, low-slung headlights and tubular handlebars, among other features. The engine is likely to be the same as the updated Karizma.
The fourth model on the list could be Vida’s electric scooter. It could be a new variant of the existing V1 scooter or an entirely new electric vehicle. The brand currently offers two versions of the V1: Pro and Plus. The V1 is priced between Rs 1.03 lakh and Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

As far as the Indian market is concerned, the above-mentioned models may enter the Indian market sometime in 2025. However, we don’t expect them to be available before the launch of the new Destini 125. The updated Destini 125, launched last month, features a new design language, larger wheels, wider rear tires and a longer wheelbase.
