Honda’s first electric scooter – believed to be the Activa Electric – will debut on November 27. While previous teasers have confirmed two instrument consoles and riding modes among other things, the latest teaser video shows that the upcoming electric scooter will come with two removable batteries – called the Honda Power Bank e: (MPP) – placed under the seat. Technical specifications have not yet been made public, but it is known that the MPP has a capacity of 1.3kWh, similar to the CUV e shown at EICMA 2024. This means that the total capacity of the Activa Electric will be 2.6kWh. CUV e: Claimed combined range of over 70 km, but early teasers of the Activa Electric said otherwise – a range of 104 km in standard mode. Speaking of which, the scooter will get two riding modes (standard and sport) in addition to reverse mode.

The new teaser also shows that the scooter will have little room to boot thanks to the removable battery. However, riders will be able to use a cubby area to store some gadgets. Rumor has it that the electric Activa will offer performance on par with the 110cc Activa, which is currently the best-selling scooter in the ICE segment. The second teaser, released in mid-November, showed a swingarm-mounted motor similar to the CUV e: scooter.
