The recall will be phased in starting on November 5, with free replacement parts available at all approved dealers. The company will contact owners of affected cars individually. Read on for more details.

Honda Recall: How to Check?

Customers can visit the Product Updates/Recalls page through the Service tab on the Honda Cars India website and enter the VIN of their vehicle to see if their vehicle is affected by the recall. Additionally, customers who purchased a fuel pump assembly from an authorized dealer through over-the-counter sales between June 2017 and October 2023 can verify the recall details for their vehicle at a Honda dealer.

global recall

Honda is voluntarily recalling nearly 720,000 vehicles in the United States, including Accords and Civics (produced from 2023 to 2025) due to a faulty high-pressure fuel pump. According to the manufacturer, a defective high-pressure fuel pump core can cause internal cracks in the fuel pump. In addition to increasing the potential for fuel leaks and odors while driving or idling, these cracks have the potential to spread while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of fire, collision, or injury. As of the recall announcement, the company has not received any confirmed crash or injury complaints.
